Retiring Old Paths

TryHackMe will retire the following learning paths on April 2nd, 2025:

We are making this change to give learners a clearer and more complete way to learn. The new Cyber Security 101 path brings together the best parts of the retiring paths into one easy-to-follow course. It covers all the important topics in a structured way, helping you build the knowledge and hands-on skills needed for a cybersecurity career. The existing SOC Level 1 and SOC Level 2 paths reflect the content from the Cyber Defence path.

Frequently Asked Questions

What will happen to my certificates from these paths?

All certificates you have earned will remain intact and accessible. You can view and download them from the Certificates tab in your profile.

What happens to my progress in these paths?

We encourage users to complete any in-progress paths before the announced retirement date. After that, it will no longer be possible to continue or complete these specific paths.

Will I still have access to rooms from the retired paths?

Most individual rooms from the retired paths will not be removed. They will be marked as completed in your profile and remain accessible. However, some rooms and modules will be removed.

Will the support channels on Discord be removed?

Yes, after the paths are retired, all associated support channels on Discord will be archived and no longer accessible.

I missed the notification, and now it is too late. Can I still complete the path?

No, once the official deadline has passed, it will no longer be possible to complete the retired learning paths. We recommend checking out the Cyber Security 101, SOC Level 1 and SOC Level 2 paths, which includes much of the content from the old paths in an updated format.
