What are Weekly Missions?

Weekly Missions are short, curated goals designed to keep you learning consistently. Each mission bundles a handful of tasks you can complete within seven days, so you always know what to do next without doom-scrolling through content.

Where to find them?

Dashboard: Look for the Weekly Mission card on your homepage!

How do they work?

  • One week at a time: A mission runs for seven days. When a new week starts, a new mission appears

  • Curated tasks: Expect a small set of focused items such as rooms or specific tasks. They’re picked to be achievable in a week while still building real skills

  • Track progress: Your mission progress updates as soon as you complete your tasks. You will be notified by a toast message as well as in the Dashboard

  • Availability: All items in a Weekly Mission are standard TryHackMe content

  • Notifications: You may see gentle nudges on the site or via email to remind you when a mission is halfway done or about to end

How to complete a mission?

  1. See the current mission from your dashboard.

  2. Start the first task. They will require your activity in the platform.

  3. Work through the list. You can do tasks in any order.

  4. Watch the progress meter. It fills as you complete the required questions.

  5. Finish all required tasks. The mission flips to Completed for the week.

Missed a week?

No drama. Weekly Missions are optional. If you don’t finish before the week ends, the next week just brings a fresh mission.

What's in it for me?

Missions include rewards to keep you moving:

Streak Freeze

Protects your streak for one missed day. If you forget to answer a question once, the freeze absorbs the hit and your streak continues.

  • When it activates: Automatically on your first missed day after you’ve earned it.

  • Where to see it: Your streak widget will show an active freeze if one is available.

  • Limits: One use per freeze.

XP Boost

Temporarily increases the XP you earn on TryHackMe.

  • How it works: Complete the week’s mission to unlock the boost. The duration and multiplier are shown on the mission complete pop-up card and the toast message.

  • When it starts: It starts immediately on claim.

  • Stacking: XP Boosts don’t stack.
