What is a streak?

On TryHackMe, a streak is the number of days in a row you have answered at least one question. Think of it as your daily learning rhythm - keep it going and you will unlock some sweet rewards.

Why keep your streak alive?

Because consistency deserves credit.

  • badges

  • access to special network labs

  • streak freezes to cover off days

  • discount on swag

  • and sometimes… streak repair if luck is on your side

Your current streak is always on display at the top right of any page. Friendly, but slightly judgy.

Streak Rewards

7 days = badge, networking rooms access, streak freeze
30 days = badge, streak freeze
45 days = 5% off swag

Streak Freeze: Your Built-In Backup

Some days just get away from you. That is what a streak freeze is for. It automatically saves your streak if you miss a day - no guilt necessary.

How to get one:

  • complete 3 rooms after signing up

  • hit a milestone streak (7, 30, 180, 365)

  • keep a 7-day streak going

You can only hold one freeze at a time. No hoarding.

How it works:
If you haven’t answered a question by midnight (your time), you will get a friendly nudge: one notification, one email. Still nothing? Your freeze will kick in automatically.
When it activates, your streak icon will turn blue - the universal symbol for "do not worry, we've got this." Hover over it and you’ll see a message confirming your freeze is active.

Important: From there, you have got 24 hours to answer a question and keep the streak alive. If you miss that window, it is reset city.

Streak Repair: A Wildcard Save

No freeze left and your streak broke? There is a chance - and we mean chance - that streak repair will appear. It is not guaranteed. But when it does, it lets you restore your streak by completing any room before the day ends.

Use it if it shows up. You will not get another shot if you miss it. Keep showing up, keep learning, and let the streak system cheer you on - quietly judging in the corner if you do not.
