1. Introduction

  • These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the prize giveaway ("Giveaway") conducted during the Advent of Cyber 2024 ("Event") organised by TryHackMe LTD ("TryHackMe" or "Organiser").

  • By entering the Event, participants agree to abide by these Terms and the decisions of the Organiser.

2. Eligibility

  • The Giveaway is open to all registered active TryHackMe users who are aged 16 years or over ("Participants" or each a "Participant").

  • Employees of the organiser or anyone else connected with the Event (such as official walkthrough video creators) are not eligible to enter the giveaway.

  • Entry is free, and no purchase is necessary to enter the Giveaway.

  • Participants who participate in the Event between 1 December 2024 and 31 December 2024 will be eligible to win a grand prize ("Eligible Participants" or each an “Eligible Participant").

  • Users must verify their TryHackMe account to be eligible to win from the prize draw.

3. Entry

  • Participants can enter the Event by completing questions or tasks as may be required from time to time ("Tasks" and each a "Task") in the event room located at www.tryhackme.com/r/room/adventofcyber2024 or such link as the Organiser may update from time to time ("Event Room").

  • Each correct Task answered constitutes an entry ("Entry" or "Entries"). One Eligible Participant can submit multiple Entries.

  • Every Eligible Participant can enter the Event using only one TryHackMe account. Multiple account entries are not permitted, and the Eligible Participant will be disqualified from the prizes.

  • Entries for the Giveaway can be submitted from December 1st 2024 to December 31st 2024.

  • Entries that do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the Organiser's sole discretion.

4. Prizes

  • Prizes (other than TryHackMe vouchers) are handled by OnGoody.com

    • Information will be shared with OnGoody.com for the purpose of prize distribution. The Participant acknowledges and consents to the collection, use, processing and transfer of personal data as described in this section. The Participant authorises TryHackMe and any third parties to receive, possess, use, retain and transfer the personal data, in electronic or other form, for the purposes of implementing, administering and managing the Participant’s participation in the Event, including any requisite transfer of such personal data as may be required.

  • Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash or other forms of credit.

  • Images of prizes are for illustrative purposes only. Actual prizes may vary in brand or make but will be similar in value.

  • Any expiry date associated with a prize is final and non-negotiable.

  • It is the responsibility of the winner to redeem the prize before the expiry date.

  • Prizes will be awarded to Eligible Participants selected from those who have completed Tasks in the Advent of Cyber room. Each completed Task will serve as an Entry into the prize draw, enhancing the likelihood of selection. Participation in the draw is free, with no purchase necessary.

  • After the winner has been selected, the username of the winner’s TryHackMe public profile may be posted on the company's social media profiles.

  • Participants in the Advent of Cyber draw are eligible to win only one prize, and any individual selected for multiple prizes will be awarded a single prize only.

5. Prize Claim

  • Winners will be announced on January 6th, 2025 on the TryHackMe blog.

  • Winners will be contacted via email, within 7 days of the announcement.

  • No claims will be entertained after the Prize Claim Deadline of Monday, 20th, January 2025.

6. Prize Delivery

  • TryHackMe will make reasonable efforts to deliver the prize to the winners.

  • Shipping may take up to 10 business days, but please allow up to 30 days for international shipping.

  • If requested, the winner's name, address, and email address must be provided to TryHackMe and will be shared to enable the fulfilment of the Prize.

  • Should the Eligible Participant be selected for a prize but his or her residence is unable to receive shipments from Goody, a gift card of equivalent value will be issued to the Eligible Participant.

  • In the event that TryHackMe is unable to deliver the prize due to unforeseen circumstances or restrictions that are not attributed to TryHackMe, the winners will be compensated with TryHackMe swag, TryHackMe vouchers, or an equivalent monetary donation to the Winner’s charity of choice, as deems fit by TryHackMe.

  • In the event that the prize is unclaimed, the winner can’t be contacted, or the winner is found to be illegible for the prize, TryHackMe will donate the amount equal to the prize’s worth to charity, as deemed fit by TryHackMe.

  • TryHackMe is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transport. For any issues with prize delivery of Goody products (such as delivery complexities or product faults), winners are advised to contact Goody’s support team.
