Why Is My Answer Marked As Incorrect?
In most cases, an answer is marked as incorrect because it doesn't match the format the question expects, rather than because the question is broken. Before reporting a question, please go through the checks below.
How To Check Your Answer
Match the answer format. The underscores in the answer box show the length and shape of the expected answer: each underscore is one character, and slashes, dots or braces are shown as they are. For example, /////__. is a file path made of five folders and a file name.
Include the whole flag. If the format shows THM{...}, include the THM part and both braces.
Check capitals and spaces. Make sure there's no space before or after your answer, and that capital letters match. Answers are case-sensitive.
Use values from your own machine. IP addresses, hostnames and generated values come from the machine you deployed. If you restarted it, some answers may have changed.
Re-read the question. Look out for details such as "full path", "number only" or "without the extension".
Use the hint. Many questions have a hint button (the lightbulb) next to the answer field.
