Your team is diverse

They have different backgrounds, experience levels, responsibilities, and interests. That is why you can modify TryHackMe's content in the following ways:

1. Rearrange

You can rearrange content via a custom learning path. The content remains unchanged, you just rearrange rooms in a different order or in/exclude topics.

Use case

  • you are happy with the content that has been created (by TryHackMe or yourself), but like to reshuffle a learning path

  • you would like certain user groups to focus on a specific topic

2. Edit & Clone

You can edit and clone existing TryHackMe content.

Use case

  • you would like to make a room easier / more difficult

  • you would like to explain how this applies to your organisation's specific situation

3. Upload Virtual Machines

You can upload Virtual Machines to TryHackMe's environment.

Use case

  • hosting (purposely) vulnerable training material internally provides an additional security risk

  • users unintentionally break training machines. This provides additional IT admin work that you can do without

  • the cost of procuring and maintaining your own training environment has spun out of control

4. Assign topics

You can create an assignment, which is a room with a deadline

Use case

  • your organisation migrates to a new technology. You would like your team to focus on training material that covers that technology

  • you would like to prioritise specific training topics throughout the year

  • your students need to complete topics on a specific day
